Book an Appointment

You can book an appointment:

• By telephone on (0191) 232 2973
• In-person (suspended March 2020 due to coronavirus)
• Online (via the NHS app - infromation link at the bottom of the page)

Types of Appointments
At Newcastle Medical Centre we offer the following types of appointments:

• Urgent appointments - allocated via triage 

• Weekday GP appointments - pre-bookable 7 days and 4 weeks in advance.

• Nurse appointments - offering a range of services (blood tests, dressings, cervical screening, childhood immunisations, contraception services etc).

• Saturday appointments - available on select Saturdays with the GP, Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Practice Nurse. Saturday GP appointments are pre-bookable 3 days and 4 weeks in advance.
